Juwel 450 Sumped
A few pics of my tank so far... Hope you all like!
Maybe I should say a bit more about the system too.
It's a sumped 450 Bow Front Juwel. I use an ATI Powermudule Dimmbar 8x54 w T5 unit connected to GHP Profiluf II which also has PH and temperature monitors.
A Deltec APF 600 Skimmer, C/T reactors for Rowaphos and NP Bio-Pellets.
I'm using a GHL 3 pump standalone doser for the Balling method using Fauna Marine salts.
Circulation is a Koralia 8, Koralia 6 and a Vortech MP40w ES.
It's been set up and running now from first week in April if my memory serves me well. As with others I've lost some and learned a lot. I've tried Halides, LED's and now on T5's, I wouldn't knock any of them they all serve their purpose, but I would have a preference to ATI as they are so controllable and give off a huge amount of light.
It's an sps dominated tank with a couple of Brain corals and Pineapple Corals and a couple of Rhodactis.
Fish wise I have a Yellow Tang, Neon Dottyback, Cleaner Wrasse, 3 x Dispar Anthias (I think) and 3 x Lyretail Anthias, 4 x Yellow Tail Blue Damsels and 2 x Common Clowns.
I have a black and a pink brittle star about 14" across, 2 x Cleaner Shrimp, 1 x Blood Shrimp and a small Red Star.
Anyway to the pics.... I hope I don't bore you all! I got a few new sps from Soggybongo yesterday, so I'll update pics asap. Not great pics as I'm no pro behind a lens and there is a blue hue from them, but they;ll give you a general idea.

Cheers mate! Too much work and too much money lol, but you're right, the ATI lights are very good. Put all your pennies away and you'll get there!

Yeah mate keeping good, Deany was sayin he was up and your tank looked amazing . How you finding the lights for growth?
Im using Jarheads AM aquasunlight 2x250 halides & 4x54w T5s. What bulbs would you recommend T5 wise m8 for colour.
Im happy with the halides but think a good colour combo would be nice for looks.

Aye Deany was up ok and it was good to hear his comments about the tank, it makes it worth your while when you hear nice and productive comments. As far as the growth is concerned I think it's pretty good, Deany seemed to think so, and he has years of watching corals grow so if he says it's ok, then I'm happy enough.
The AM sunlight should be a great job mate and having 4 x 54w T5's is a real bonus, I'd be happy if I'd one of those. As far as T5's are concerned I use ATI 5 Superblue and 2 Blue Plus and 1 KZ fiji purple tubes. If I had the light you have, I'd use a combination of Blue Plus and Fiji Purple and maybe an actinic or two.
Let me know if you change the T5's, it would be interesting to see if helps.
