activated carbon
started using that yesterday to see how well it works.
after day one it does seem to look better but could just be me.
im going to start using less in my tank.....
plan is
carbon now and again
iodine once every 2 weeks
Korallen Zucht coral snow,daily...removes harfull chems an acids from tank
Korallen Zucht ZEOstart.... keeps nitrate an phosphates down so that also does away with the reactor
and thats all I plan to use.

Re: activated carbon
well this is day three of using carbon and coral snow......wow I can definitely see the difference.
the water looks really clear and there is definite reduction in cyno on the sandbed and green algae on the glass.
what algae is on the glass comes off real easy were as before I was having to take the scrapper to it.
