Re: eheim pump
Personally I would be looking around 30x to 40x turnover of tank volume per hour for an sps tank,
Decide what system your going to be aiming to keep as its extremely hard to keep softies, Lps and sps all thriving in the same system
What will you tank and sump hold??? 200L ???

Re: eheim pump
Its pretty simple mate to work things out without over complicating things.
You'll be looking ideally 30x - 40x turnover for perfect conditions
Your Display tank is roughly 100L after sand etc so
Your return pump is 1000L
1000L divide by 100L = 10x turnover
Plus a couple of TUNZE 6015 NANO STREAM , £30 each and worth every penny(1,800lph)
1,000L
+ 1,800L
+ 1,800L
= 4,600L
divide by tank 100L
= 46x
Perfect for Sps mate
